Sad how the RE and NRE employees are treated. Supposed out-of-the-box opportunities will not position any of them to a better light, per se. It's all just lip service. Also, those supposed friends made along the way are sadly just coworkers, not friends.
You don’t need lay-off when you can give pi-s poor increments to make people leave. Then you can self award huge bonuses to congratulate yourself on a job well done.

Why layoff? Make the place stink and people will leave at their own accord.
Would have preferred they did a layoff and gave everyone left a proper raise.
Although, the ongoing attrition could explain it...
