The fear in the branch covdian fools is large.
I think there is a minimum number of employees that have to be affected in a specific location to trigger a WARN notice. FISV/FD is so distributed, they could let 20-30 people go at each location (or remote) and not have to report, even through the aggregate number of people laid off may be in the hundreds.
With all the layoffs going on, where are all the WARN notice filings? They closed an office in Lake Mary forcing most to either relocate or be laid off. Why wasnt this reported to the state of florida??

Right now the job market seems hot!!!! If you are thinking about leaving, or fear you may be impacted by a layoff, get that resume ready and dip your toe in the pond.

Yes there are layoffs going on, I was just let go today after over 31 years and being eyeball deep in major projects with an already anemic team. I suspect it was related to my being unwilling to commute 2-3 hours a day but they would not give me a specific reason. The HR gal said that there were others being laid off but of course was unwilling to elaborate on how many or where. In my case being laid off is a good thing, I was within a week or two of walking out over mounting frustrations and a very good local job market so at least I get to leave with a severance.
