Like many of you, I was an original Fiserv employee growing more and more disgruntled every day with the First Data culture takeover. My best advice is to decide if you can accept the new culture (and thrive in it) or to move on (vote with your feet). I chose the latter, and am much happier for it. All companies have their challenges, so it’s up to you to decide which challenges you can navigate through. If you need encouragement one way or another, I found a new job at a more reputable company (Fortune 50) that is 100% remote and got a $20k salary increase. Accounting / Finance field. For additional humor, in the job interview the controller asked me to explain what “fizz-erv” does because he had never heard of it. Sorry Frankie, I guess Pi-s-erv isn’t as great as you think it is.

Except at FrankServ the blue pill keeps you ignorant. Nobody gets the red pill
My job is to make sure the pills are the correct shade of blue.
“ No one I have interviewed with had heard of Fiserv before. It has zero brand name recognition.”
Most people think its ‘the’ pharmaceutical company.
No one knows who Fiserv is. Everytime I mention Fiserv, people think I'm mentioning Pfizer. Then when I tell them no it's Fiserv, they are like "who"?
LOL

Congrats on your new opportunity!
