Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Frank's agenda

  • Get as many people to quit as possible, replace them with underpaid newbies to fill the NJ location, and then get a tax break.
  • Hypocritically embrace "work from office" while granting lots of exceptions under the table.
  • Cut as many corners as possible when it comes to internal tooling.
  • Embrace vaccine mandates but secretly allow a select few to sneak by without formal exceptions.
  • Use expired tests to further cut down costs.

Good job Frankie -- you're a role model for other CEOs for sure.

Are there really that many people being granted astronaut status? I only know of one on my team who was allowed to stay fully remote because he lives thousands of miles away, but they would not under any circumstances allow anyone within driving distance of an office to convert to fully remote, no matter how essential they are to the functioning of our team and the support and maintenance of our products.
