Just me or do others feel like they are regularly the crazy one at work? Logic is not adhered to in meetings, the obvious is ignored, running around in circles, priorities change daily...

Correction. You mean your logic isn’t adhered to, and what’s obvious to you isn’t chosen. It’s all a matter of perspective. I’m not saying you’re right or wrong, just pointing out others are probably thinking you have no logic or common sense. It’s happened to me. All I was able to do is say “I told you so” a couple of years later. Not sure this only happens at Cisco, it’s probably human psychology at work.

Try looking at working at Cisco sort of like going to Vegas and playing a slot machine.
Instead of gambling, you are investing.
While on the calls, figure out how to trade. Max your 401ks, max your Roth IRAs. Trade daily.
Did this for 17 years. In background was always planning trades. Kept a log of the returns on the Roths. Actively traded.
Kept me somewhat sane during my stint. Left in early 50s with a LR package and a good chunk of change from the trading.
