OSHA Mandate (and therefore Cisco Layoff policy) proven unconstitutional

Supreme court shot down the OSHA mandate as unconstitutional and overly broad.

The federal mandate that was also used as the original excuse was shot down months ago.

You people have been locked up at home too long. Whatever whacko ideas are fashionable on the Internet won’t work in the real world.
I’m currently on a business trip doing on-site testing with a major customer.
You cannot move without a vaccine passport in 2022. You cannot fly. You cannot cross a border. You cannot enter an office. You cannot enter a lab. You cannot enter a restaurant. You cannot meet with customers.
Oh, and you need masks just about everywhere (with few exceptions).
Good luck tilting at windmills.

Here's the reality of the situation...

The "vaccine" does not have 100% efficacy at stopping the spread of COVID.

It needs to STOP the Pandemic in its tracks. If it doesn't, then it's not a real vaccine and has no business being legally mandated in any capacity. Period.

The value-add of the "vaccine" is that it reduces the severity of symptoms if you were to get COVID. I'll concede and I recommend people should get the "vaccine"; however, this benefit alone is not enough to justify these nonsensical regulations and mandates.

God has a hand in everything. Good to thank God for all the blessings we experience. I like to.

I pray often for peace, (for myself and others) and it seems to increase peaceful experiences.

Like this one. I prayed many times for this outcome and I am very thankful for this blessing upon the American people. Land of the free and home of the brave.

I can rest more easily knowing that freedoms are being protected. Our constitution is still limiting government over-reach, and our seperated powers and limited government set in place by our founding fathers still have teeth even many years later.

Out right to decide what goes into our own bodies is very important. Our right to make our own medical decisions is fundamental to a free society. Anything less is tyranny.

If they can force you to take medical intervention - they will. It makes medical companies billions in profit. Glad to see freedom of choice protected.

Now Cisco will have to get rid of people the old fashion way - lay them off and pay severance.

Thought we weren't doing severance anymore. Give 4 months notice that your position will be eliminated. Tell them to find something internal or external. No need to report to the street that you're setting aside a billion dollars for downsizing. Leave early and the company saves more. You walk out with your accrued PTO. That's it.

Thank God!!

Definitely sending prayers this morning for God's grace.

What's God got to do with this? Maybe you should try praying about ending the senseless violence and daily shootings that take place everywhere.

Now Cisco will have to get rid of people the old fashion way - lay them off and pay severance. Of course they will need to contend with those who suffered side effects from the vax as a result of a vax mandate now ruled unconstitutional.

Uncle Joe is pitching zero for two today.

SCOTUS + Sinema = Sanity

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) doubled down on her support for the 60-vote legislative filibuster Tuesday, roughly an hour before President Biden meets with Democrats to push for changing the Senate rule in order to pass voting rights legislation.

"I will not support separate actions that worsen the underlying disease of division infecting our country," Sinema said during a Senate floor speech.

Cisco doesn't need an OSHA mandate to have a vaccination policy of its own. It may not make sense to require vaccinations for people largely working from home though. But companies can and have instituted the policy without OSHA prompting.

FYI - The vaccine mandate at Cisco had nothing to do at all with the OSHA vaccine mandate. The Cisco vaccine requirement was a result of the federal contractor executive order which is still in the courts. It more closely aligned to the vaccine requirements the court upheld related to medicare.....that is if you take medicare or Medicaid money the requirements from the EO stand (ie the vaccine mandate)
