Hope we build houses better than cars and trucks. Great gesture but I wouldn’t trust the work. Better get a home warranty cause you can’t recall a house.

Ford allows employees to get paid by Ford for 2 days a year of volunteering.
One of the things you volunteer for is Habitat for Humanity.
Our work team volunteered for Habitat for Humanity once. Team members decided to bring coolers filled with adult beverages to the work site. Within a few hours they were thinking it was a good idea to shoot nails at each other with nail g-ns. I left for a “coffee run”, when I returned everyone was packing up to go to a bar as the Habitat for Humanity team leader asked the Ford team to leave and never come back.
At another Ford volunteer event one team member flipped a backhoe over, he was three sheets to the wind. I am still amazed to this day that no one was seriously injured that day. It was two feet from being several fatalities.
Crazy times volunteering with the blue oval for sure.

Yes, nothing new......I did this while at Ford way back in 2006. Don't know why this is here...slow news day?

Well, Ford will get credit either way for their employees' hard work. Good marketing exposure for Ford. Hopefully, the houses they build will be more functional and reliable than the cars they produce. It will be the first product Ford employees produce that will not result in recall notices.
