Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Call center position is slowly k-lling me

I really hate fiserv. I know therebetter positions here than Level 1 call center agent. Please help me. I can’t with this micromanagement, lies, metrics and mindless robotic routine. I’m leaving fiserv asap- but if anyone has any info for the time being- I’m all ears.

When working at Fiserv you need to know that you will be laid off without any warning. You need a large emergency fund to get you to your next job. I also hear taking a month or two off between jobs to decompress is a good idea.

OP ... take a look at Found. They have a Customer Experience Associate position open. I found the "Found" job from their page in LinkedIn.

You hate Fiserv, but you're leaving soon (good!), so what exactly do you need help or info about, for, with?? Just know that everything will be okay. Keep it moving!

Also, applying through LinkedIn is wonderful. With a completed resume a lot of information prefills to save you time. You can also track that you have applied. I noticed today on one of my apps that I got a system generated email and an update on the UI that a recruiter was looking at my resume. Don't forget to build and leverage your network -- people want to help others. There are also free courses you can take within LinkedIn, that may be something that is valuable to you as well and helps you stand out to recruiters. Speaking of which, as appropriate reach out to recruiters. You could look at local banks and CUs in your area, they likely have openings. You can get out and be happier, but it will take a bit of effort. Now is the time.

A call center position should be easy to find in this economy. Get out there looking assertively!

Call center is a relatively low skill position that should be easy to fill. Amazon would be a lateral move for you.

Update your resume on LinkedIn, make it open to work, and set alerts for the jobs and companies you are interested in. Good luck.
