Just as the title says.
I see a bunch of folks getting let go from sales, management, customer facing orgs...I have seen or heard anything about the technology organization. I figure this is coming.

Why do they seem to be steering the car to the ditch?
Frank and Guy - thats whats happening. They aren't allowing any self-governance and worse adding impediments
There won't be anyone left to bring the new hires up to speed. They will have to figure stuff out cold. That will be a very challenging job. Quality will fall dramatically with all the unintended changes.
I know Tech people have been given the ultimatum to move to offices or leave in a month.
People with 30 years of knowledge will be gone in 30 days...
In my experience as a software developer at Fiserv, it seems that the vast majority of people who we have lost (at least in my business unit/team) have willingly left the company for a new job. We haven't seen any layoffs in my group since before the pandemic, but I think part of that has to do with how small our team was to begin with, and how much smaller it is becoming with each passing month. At this point, it probably doesn't make sense to lay off anyone else among us because most people will just naturally continue to leave without any further effort (other than continuing to enforce RTO). I don't know who is going to support our products once most of the knowledgable people have left. Maybe they'll bring on an offshore team (and good luck with that). Not sure.
Channels is also now under Account Processing, so I expect further 'actions' in that area this year.
I think the poster means Account Processing or cores.
What does APS stand for?
Internal Fiserv dept that specialized in malware is gone.
There have been multiple cuts in cards services .. project Mgmt org is trimmed , CIO left , CTO left , other executive leaving soon .. god knows what is going on with this organization… FYI cards is 2B business and one of most profitable .. think if it can happen in there what will happen in other parts of the org
qjs what BU?
It is happening, got my notice today.
Really.. APS.. here in Open Solutions (DNA) there have been layoffs/RIFS since Jan 2020.. down over 30 percent.. some places more..
APS layoffs are around the corner from what I hear. It is one OFS-rich area that hasn't been totally gutted yet (though there have been a lot of people leaving on their own).
