Retention Bonuses

These need to start or attrition will continue. The FAs are older - get a clue they want a final huge check before they retire to set up their retirement home.

My department gave retention raises to their most essential employees late last year. We were told not to talk about it because they didn't give them to everyone. Sorry to hear you weren't considered essential, OP.

Watch your mouth - you will age AND you better be prepared for all of the BS that YOU will face.

Retention bonuses do happen, but they are rare.

You need to be "key". And to be "key" you have to be more than just good at some niche job. You also need to check the right boxes. We all know what that means.

OP - yeah, because Boomers need more money to fund their post-retirement lifestyle. GTFOOH with this bu-----t - if an FA can't put a plan together for their own retirement of course they'd be working here looking for a handout.

@qwo+1eRYXqTb our site leader had an all teal call with our ~200 staff and said we were all getting them lol. We each got an email later from HR with the exact amount since the amount of retention bonus depended on our old title, lvl 3, 4, 5, etc.

“ our department all got retention bonus in 2020.. I don't see that happening again considering we are super slow now compared to then.”

Retention bonuses were handed out last year to 'key personnel'. Sounds like you might have missed out.

They can get a final check through the succession program. You think they're going to provide retention bonuses ala AGE? Not going to happen.
