Judging by what others are saying, a significant number of people will be cut. Does anyone have more detailed info?

Ibm just doesn't have to increase pay, just like every year and people will keep leaving. Ak & co. Think they're genius to figure this out, only that wrong kind of people are leaving, ones who did most of the work and are knowledgeable enough to leave.
Ibm has no ambition to make any successful products or compete in any markets.
I work on an org of about 600 heads. Last year I saw the voluntary departure of 60-70 ppl, many of them with over 10 even 20 years at ibm (bands 9+), very few backfills (maybe 20, all of them entry level, band 6 or 7), the exodus has not slowed down on 2022. At this pace, I doubt ibm will need to cut much.
