Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Watch out for Pune U, OSU, KSU, LSU grads

Add ICT, UIUC, TAMU, TTU, LSU, Anna U or whatever sh-t place you want to. A bottom line is that toxic employees are hired from anywhere. To avoid traps, assess how your coworkers behave around management and evaluate their meaningful technical contributions. Watch your back from the ones who are not individual contributors.

Although most American workers are hard workers and for them school doesn’t matter, some of the most poisonous Indi and InterN colleagues at EM are noticeably from these few places

Fat fu--s from Harvard either think Big Oil is beneath them and have bad attitudes, or they are slow witted and just took the easy, slow track. Terrible performers but the Ivy League aura still propels their fat fu----g as--s longer than they deserve.

The quality of your college education is only as good as the ranking of the football team in the Associated Press and Coaches polls.

I once met a personality who said he/she “chose” some unknown random place called ICT over famous IITs in India for their undergrad studies. It is ridiculous what sort fake stuff people sell thinking Americans don’t know anything.

In my 30 year experience, there’s nobody as sour as graduates from Ivy League who got jobs in the oil industry. They are forever marked by an unfathomable complex of superiority, as if they are a different, better human species, and they are permanently exploding over the fact that once you start working nobody cares where you graduated from. They look and talk like permanent aristocrats in exile, that is to say pathetic.

OP, if the highlight of your life is graduating from MIT, you are either 23yo, or you have lived a very sad life.

Signed,

Poster is sour he got an education at a higher price and ended up in the same place as grads from these schools LOL. In the end everyone knows who’s winning. I graduated from one of those and I’m doing great. Stop trying to make a big deal out of it while those people are getting the same pay if not more than you
