Anyone else sp-t out their coffee when seeing the intranet home page? DW discusses company strategy, net-zero ambition.
FFS, PG&A do you not have editors with college-level English skills?

@OP No, he doesn’t. What he and other industry executives have is a list of talking points that they’ve been directed to repeat, and “net-zero 2050” happens to be one of them, along with “carbon tax” and “diversity & inclusion.” Clearly, neither Exxon nor any other O&G company is committed to any of these things, so discussing them is pointless.
Bhai, ExxonMobil ne gand macha rakhi hai.
Translation: Bro ExxonMobil management is conducting dirty business.
I read a good analogy: EM scope 1and 2 net zero (not zero btw) is as if a cigarette company was announcing that by 2050 all its employees will quit smoking.
zero from self operation is not that big of a deal. It is called green washing without any humane regard for actual and significant benefit to the society.
A real analogy is ExxonMobil announcing that while we will continue to produce and sell a ki---r poison to the society and kids, the fabrication process used to make poison will not produce any side/bad effects in and around the factory during fabrication, packing and shipment.
- tsk
Not sure if there would be any accountability.
DW would long ago enjoying his retirement, be it EM meets the target or not.
FUnny. DW with net-zero ambition.
Show a black-light on the old Raymond/Tillerson carpet.
It glows even today.
Ambition.
@OP here: no change to the wording, but now the text box has blue background instead of red. P&GA. Calling for admin, FFS you toadies.
Next week's big P&GA accomplishment: green background 🤣
OP: Did you sp-t on DW's head? I bet the sp-t got dirty.
I'm proud ExxonMobil is finally taking climate change seriously. I may bring my kids to campus this weekend for a cube pic to show my support.
Lol, DW and other CEOs of IOC’s will be 6ft under by the time these net zero deadlines arrive. Easy to talk the talk now… it’ll be some other yes-man’s problem to deal with in the future
“EM pretends to give a sh-t.”
There, I fixed the headline.
Exxon will be become renewable company soon..
We take all our commitments seriously. They just reset every year.
Don't worry. Just like the false 3% increase in production volumes promises from 2013 to 2017.
No I had not seen it, but Bill Keillor's grin looks like he's wanting to play with those huge scissors in the "New Immersive Realities Center" article photo.
