Does anyone else have to do this? A few months ago, a bigwig did a store walk, they found a few moldy packs of strawberries, and now, we have every merchandiser come to go through all the produce 4 times a day, everyday!! It's a waste of time and frankly, it's not my job! Produce doesn't come to my freezer and help stock or zone, so why should I!!

I dip my junk in the produce. Nothing is as refreshing as cool romaine lettuce on the nutz
They buy all the leftovers the grocery stores wouldn't touch. Plus they want you to rework everything too. Health dept will set them straight if they try to pull that cr-p
Some of the slop that comes straight off the produce truck is already nasty and gross. It’s a freaking warehouse not a fresh produce market.
Read your job description. You can be asked to do anything within reason. The not my job mentality is toxic.
