That Dell EMC at Hopkinton is paying off more than 15% yearly bonuses and have raised the salaries by more than 8% for the Engineers there. Is that true?

it's just someone's wishful thinking.
so, where and how did you hear this rumor? Seems very speculative and something that wouldn't be mentioned unless you're at the HR level.

Amazon and Facebook - those two beasts have extremely aggressive recruiters. I was at the point to implement a rule where any email coming from @facebook.com and amazon.com domains to be deleted but I buy stuff from Amazon and that was the only reason I did not do it for Amazon. Instead I had a standard template with response on the topic in which I would explaining that preparation for the interview takes too much time and I'd rather spend my free time on more relevant problems.

as i have been saying the last 6 months dell cannot afford to lose people at this point.
yes, we are well behind the curve and engineers are noticing. Most are waiting until March after the bonus and then there will be the great resignation.
