We both have been considering quitting for months and looking at what's available, but he decided that he'd had enough and he just wanted out. The first offer he got, he accepted. Nearly a 20 percent cut in pay but he was willing to take it. I envy him. He's single and he can make that choice for himself. I could never do that to my family. But it says a lot about the company when employees are willing to take less money just to get away.

Be fair. HR processes the more difficult and higher value raises first, many of which which happen to be their own. trying to do approvals as close to the pay Period as possible so you don’t have to wait. Longest issue is HRs slow butts getting it in
Raises are kicking in fairly quick . Theyre trying to do approvals as close to the pay Period as possible so you don’t have to wait. Longest issue is HRs slow butts getting it in
@2xbg+1eXvTm3k No harm in asking for it. If you do ask for a raise and it gets approved, it's probably not going to kick in until half a year later so you know you won't be laid off in the near future. And if you didn't get it, then it's a good time to better companies out there.
@1yvp+1eXvTm3k I’ve thought about asking for a raise but I know that if I do and get one they’ll just lay me off shortly into the future when they find a replacement. Plus there’s still the forced vaccination policy.
Keep in mind that right now with short staffing they don’t want people to leave. They’re offering pretty decent amounts to keep people. Okay your cards right with this one.
Crazy to leave for less pay BNYMELLON is already underpaid. Lots of job postings out there that pay equal or more
