Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Why don't they want top talent anymore?

It is quite clear that their goal is primarily to have as cheap labor as possible, and that attracting top talent is now lower on the list of priorities. I just don't understand how this has become a place where talents are no longer important? Attracting the best people used to be a priority.

Seems to be working so far based on quarterly earnings. Until that changes don't expect the bank to change their stance on middle to low talent associates.

As long as middle management looks good to their superiors while playing musical chairs, they could care less how competent the front line unit workers are. They'll drown you in work, take all the credit, and give you no help to boot.
