Labor Shortage?

Everywhere in the news people are whining about the labor shortage. Does NOV also have a labor shortage issue?

Does anyone really believe that NOV brought back the 401K match for us? Or the 3 weeks vacation for new hires? (talk about bringing moral down, imagine working for 8-9 years & only 2 weeks vacation, now this!) I don't. It was brought on due to cannot hire anyone with cr---y benefits, not for the employees that have stuck it out. There is a labor shortage of good workers that will work for next to nothing

Your right NOV need to recruit more managers coz with the current exodus of the workforce the managers are gonna have to do some work!

Would you flip burgers for 300k/yr?

Yeah?

There isn't a labor shortage, just the market doesn't want to pay a higher premium for labor these days. The free market works both ways. CEO pay, stock market, corporate profits, etc managed to skyrocket last few decades. Market rate of labor is higher. Companies can finally put out or shut up and close shop.

(Unless you're NOV and manage to still make no profits in the biggest market in history the last few decades lol).
