That top Executive Fraternity is what I call the “We give each other Million$ club”
Even in the hard times when Company Match was zeroed, they gave each other Million$.
Now that the stock price is rising, due only to the increase in the price of oil, they will give each other more Million$.

There has always been this inner circle or club within the company including the high flyers. Only they are aware of sponsors or RSU programs.

I never had a Sponsor. I met some sponsors and saw them intimidating others before and during Ranking Sessions.
