Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

So, numbers are out in the open…

With numbers being discussed and presented I would be interested to know who is out and who is staying. Was this a last drop that will make you run for your life or the other way around?

@1wyb+1eZPmKOH how long does this process take? Did you pick a date several months out?

Isn't every job a velvet coffin though? I guess some don't get the velvet.

Got my numbers. Similar to last year, though more cash, less stock. The $ isn't the problem. My compensation is well over market. The problem is the bureaucracy and dysfunction, but the $s make this place a velvet coffin.

Numbers became available for distribution today. Those supposed to be communicated by Friday. Ask your manager about it, if manager is not volunteering this info.

Where are you all finding “the numbers” my boss hasn’t said anything and we talked today. Checked workday and don’t see anything different.

I'm starting my search today. while I am not dissatisfied with my bonus and merit it wasn't good enough to keep me around. after I get paid next week I'll have no problem leaving.

My two up manager has been sending fire drill emails to my direct manager saying not to discuss anything, even though the numbers are released. Anyone able to shed light on why that direction is being given?

Exactly, “see guys look, TVC and no target didn’t have an impact, all is good” then next year “ummm what do you mean I’m only getting 7% of compensation?!?”

I could totally see the company being generous this round to slow the exit to a manageable trickle, only to pull the rug out of us next year.

I'm out, regardless, as soon as possible.

That's exactly why I'm slightly on edge waiting for my numbers.

If I'm pleased with them, I'll stay (unless my daily duties turn into something I don't like).

If I'm displeased with them, I'll wrap up personal loose ends (medical stuff, etc.) that are easier to deal with in an established job before exiting the bank.
