Another year of no GDP Bonus and Delayed Raises

I start interviewing next week, bye IBM. If you seriously think you can keep top talent with no bonuses and delayed raises you’re out of your mind

AK there are salary increases coming on May 1st. Let's see what that amounts to. Not very hopeful.

Raises aren't delayed at all. The last one was also in May and before that it was September for years.

@2jvs+1eZl1oIn Execs received stock compensation, not options. There is a difference. Their stock was guaranteed regardless of performance.

Ginni did the no bonus thing and said included the execs except the execs received more stock options to offset their no bonus

RTP, US here.

It's no longer a choice to leave or not - it's an economic necessity.

Management is impotent to provide any decent wage increases (I'd settle for a COLA!). This is driving out whatever talent is left to do the work. That'll leave the 9 IBM layers of management between the worker and the CEO to figure it out.

With salaries eroding due to inflation, it shouldn't surprise anyone that Arvind phoned in his all hands message this morning and took no questions.

The boots on the ground are looking for pitchforks.

Anybody else notice he didn't mention executive bonuses / compensation? The modicum of credit I'll give Ginni is her mentioning during the kickoff's that there was no executive bonuses or increases when GDP wasn't funded.

It wasn't even the compensation for me ... I left IBM because of the incompetent and delusional management, toxic work environment, and backstabbing co-workers. 🖕

As if giving out few $100 worth of gdp to workers made any difference.
Raises are also miniscule 2-3%, if any.

Ibm doesn't have money for people who actually do the work because all of it is gobbled by middle management.

You can easily get 100%-200% raise by leaving
