Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Is anyone trying to keep a job here?

As far as I can see, everyone is trying to get out of here, rarely does anyone try to stay here. I am sorry that some wonderful colleagues have left, but I am also glad that they found better opportunities.
I’m not that marketable and honestly, I’m trying to keep my job here until retirement. Luckily, I don't have much left.

Frank would not lower himself to speak to employees on Zoom. Speaking of Frank per Glassdoor he has only a 51 percent approval ratting, Fiserv is 3.4 out of 5. Given Glassdoor is trolled by Opts with fake posts and reviews these numbers alone speak volumes about how bad he and the company are.

Well, he did do a layoff of 80 people with a Teams call. I guess that is not enough to be considered massive.

@1nko+1eZtXmyb the only reason Frank didn’t do a mass layoff on a Zoom call is he doesn’t know how to set one up…

Starting over is hard, and yet, it's rare to meet anyone who didn't prosper from a new beginning. As challenging and sometimes defeating as job searching and interviewing can be, it's even more challenging to stick it out, keeping up appearances and personal morale at a company that has your name in a spreadsheet. Column A, Row 15.

To the person asking about better opportunities. There are companies that care for their employees much better than Fiserv. Believe it or not there are worse companies as well. Maybe better.com for example with their horrible CEO. Moving to a new company is always a bit of a risk but if you are lucky you could be really happy and work for a company that cares for you.

I'm going to stay. I am no fan of the new leadership but I'm not sure other employment opportunities are any better

I’m probably going to stay, unless I get a bad boss or get riffed. I’m happy with my salary, get good amount of time off, and I keep my work life balance. I don’t pay attention to all of the mean and crazy decisions. Who knows, I may get a bad or stressed-out boss soon, with all the upcoming changes. There really are a lot of jobs in the market. And if you look on “find my next job” within Fiserv, it looks like only some select BUs are getting hammered by mean policies.

If they are smart they will skip all this goal setting cr-p…the high levels still get all the money…and skip the surveys too…you just know what those outcomes will be.

I’m hoping to get laid off, if not I will retire in a year.
