"Sure but it’s switching to 100% virtual soon."

Sales will never be 100% virtual. While I do agree in person testing before the meeting would be the best option and one the customer might impose, today the requirement from some customer is to be vaccinated. I am sure this plays some role in the vaccine mandate from the ELT

"A good number of us in sales are seeing customers in person. Some customers are requiring us to be vaccinated to see them in person. How are the un-vaccinated going to address that with their customers?"

Since vaccinated individuals can still get and transmit Covid, and depending upon when they were vaccinated their own protection may have waned, a much better approach would be to have all individuals test prior to in person meetings. Nothing is perfect, however this would be a much more logical approach than simply assuming a vaccinated individual could not have or transmit Covid while believing that all unvaccinated automatically have Covid.

But sales isn’t going back to in person.

There are people who legitimately cannot or should not get the vax - immune compromised folks etc. are you saying Cisco shouldn’t sell to them?

Sorry but “Tucker told me” isn’t a good enough excuse. Don’t let the door hit your d-mb a55 on the way out.

A little confusing. If vaccines works, why do you care if some else is not vaccinated? Does natural immunity count? If your family has a history for strokes, why would you vaccinate. No long term studies on the children…. Many reasons not to vaccinate.

Again, if you are vaccinated.. why do you care? Your protected. Right!?

Wow, these responses are so incredibly tolerant. Fran and Chuck would be so proud to have people like you continuing on at Cisco. Has it ever occurred to any of you who responded with complete ugliness that just maybe some of these individuals have conditions or disabilities that are a contradiction to be able to get the Covid shot? Good luck to you all and hope karma doesn't bite you in the a-s someday.

Field roles should absolutely be vaccinated against COVID and a multitude of other infectious diseases. Going on site to a customer, then potentially ki----g them, might not lead to the outcome the company wants.

Cisco sales leadership would be wise to consider the health and welfare of everyone, and disregard the Fox News fueled Trumpkins that deny reality.

Good. Anti vax nutcases can whither away from COVID while watching Hannity. Good riddance. who the he-l will want to pack into a future GSM/GSX/Impact meeting with those infectious clowns?? Get rid of them all.
