@1vup+1ebhu0NY My point was even nurses in a double blind study of cloth masks had increased infection rates. So there's no chance regular public with masks is going to fair better.
Masks can work, but there's basically no way you can get the public to use it correctly, or bother to pay for useful masks. So you end up with a situation where infection rates are increased just to pretend like they're being good little sheep.

I don’t believe in the mandate, but on the other hand none of the unvaxed are wearing masks. I have a problem with that. Verizon should at least enforce its own mask policy
When this all started,,Verizon communicated to it's employees, that its soul purpose was to comply with the federal mandates, at first mostly the OSHA one. That got struck down, and Verizon now moved the goalpost to the Federal contractor mandate, all while maintaining the notion of compliance to the government. Now that the Federal contractor mandate is put on its rear end,, lets see how the try to work around this. Now is the time for our supposed "unions" to put those dues we all pay , to work for its membership...if they sit idly by and allow VZ to continue to run amuck, they will expose themselves as weak shills...... something that seems to be of the norm for the last 10yrs or so

This has to come from state level not Federally to strike it down. Verizon can still say it's policy even if it's Federally struck down. You don't work for Federal a Business you work for a private/Public company so if your state strikes it down then you have a leg to stand on.
