Thread regarding Change Healthcare layoffs

Is anything else going to be hit?

It's rarely only one location that is affected, should the rest of us be worried?

I realize the question is related to the Pittsburgh area layoffs and if other locations are in jeopardy. My opinion is based on an overall company view and I believe the entire workforce is in jeopardy. I have not heard or read anything about future growth strategy and total revenues over the last few years are pretty stagnant. The only method this company has of making their bottom line numbers look better is to lay personnel off, outsource positions and reduce overhead costs. At some point in time there are no more personnel to rif and no more overhead costs to reduce.

If the DOJ does not allow the Optum acquisition deal to close more layoffs and outsourcing will occur.
If the acquisition is allowed to close, then layoffs will occur.
No revenue growth and high management turnover after only working here a short amount of time is not good. Appears those in management for only a short span of time are seeing something that the normal rank and file worker does not see and must not be pretty.
