Why are we looking to fill a whole bunch of retail positions not long after there were cuts, including in retail? Why not bring back the people who were kicked out or at least offer them the option if it's not close to them? It always annoys me when we have mass hiring when we know there are competent people who could still be doing those jobs.

Lot's of good folks were outsourced to companies like IBM and it would be in our best interest to hire some of these folks back as when they were outsourced so was a lot of knowledge and top performers..
Why in the world would you want to bring someone back....they were let go for a reason. Stack rank and flush out the low performers.....
Huntsville, Alabama hiring back 15 people. Boy, will they be surprised.
It's a dominance play. They toss people away, and then wait for them to beg to return.
Shows who has power and who doesn't.
To instill fear and create a submissive workforce.
Why would anyone want to ever come back and work for T? This must be some kind of sick joke!
T's protocol is lay off, rehire temps, let go, open hiring to 20% of what used to be there at WC then lay off again. Repeat!
You'd think Stankey would be for this so he could lay them off all over again in a year.
Rehire Provisions! Ts idea is hiring temps in an area that you have return/ recall rights to and can’t get back closer to home!
Here in network, in Mobility...I am seeing multiple instances of folks that had been surplussed in last couple years coming back into new roles. I don't know if they're bridging service time or whatever, but I doubt it (not that it really matters anymore anyway).
Rehire Provisions! Ts answer is Temporary Techs sitting at your desk, in your 30 and 40 series trucks. 2019 still has people forced away from their homes and previous reporting WC’s
Why would anyone want to come back?
Ever?
Not me.
This is not part of my plan.
Part of Stink's business plan for maximum chaos at Toxic T! The more chaos, the bigger the Stink's bonuses!
IF they are occupational, most contracts contain rehire provisions in the event of a layoff.
