Is this mandate canceled or not? Haven’t heard a word from the company or the union. Does anyone have any info? Thanks!

The Union obviously has cut their own deal with the company. Why would the company still want your vax status? and why would the Union allow that?
You can't get through to the National they turned off their phones.
There is no mandate...and the government doesn't even have any deadlines anymore....Why does Verizon?.. and why does this lousy Union sell out the members?
Next contract this Union is going to need me for THEIR future...not mine, we are all but done here....well, I'll cut my deal with the company come next strike time and make loads of cash for myself....two can play this game.
Even though the mandate is temporarily suspended Verizon still wants union workers to fill out forms whether vaccinated or not. What’s the unions take on this? Why give personal information to Verizon if the mandates suspended?

This was all planned. Vz still achieved their goal and now most vz employees are vaccinated.
Probably the same the every company with a mandate. They knew the mandate would eventually be rolled back but it bought them enough time enforce the vaccine and get most of their employees vaccinated which was the goal. They can all now report back to the govt that 90% or whatever % of employees are vaccinated so they stay in the govt’s good graces and keep their govt contracts.

Verizon is reviewing it and will determine how it affects the vaccine requirements and timeline. So it’s not on hold yet.
