Exactly. Does TC do scrums? Nope. Does Vendor Management? Nope. Do the field guys? Nope. Server guys? Nope. Print management? Nope. Voice or Messaging? Nope.

You underestimate how diverse tech is. Scrum stuff impacts maybe 35% of tech.
Everyone on a scrum team get ready bc all scrum events are mandatory in office, even those with WFH agreements, and also the scrum master who's not your manager will have the ability to have you come in as often as they want to support and drive to self organizing teams. This impacts almost everyone in tech and a sold portion of every LOB.
Thought... with the people who aren't vaccinated having to take 2 rapid tests per week, what's to guarantee it's a valid test done correctly? And for those of us who are vaccinated with proof, why wouldn't we also be getting free tests to make sure we haven't caught it and too also ensure we're not accidentally spreading it between ourselves?
There was a big layoff about a dozen years ago that used similar wording, and was very tacky in the opinion of many.
It was when an entire business unit was "Invited to Seek Success Elsewhere".
Seriously. That was what was sent out. A bunch of people were laid off and told that they were being "invited" to seek success elsewhere.

Yep - invited means mandatory - according to my boss. I WFH prior to COVID for many, many years. I was told that I will need to be in the office 2-3 days a week starting Jan 10th.
At least I will be able to collaborate with my Arizona team mates while I sit alone in Charlotte (just me and my cube-mate omicron). Can't wait to ditch the Skype meetings with them...

I saw the word invited but I also saw the word “mandatory”.
Did you IT folks notice the memo said invited back not mandated back? I think that's a key word. Compare that language to the Staff portion. Staff sounds like you are required to start coming in. Much softer language for tech
