I just can’t take this anymore. I’m done. I once up and quit a job because everything was so f***ing miserable. I’m not waiting this one out any longer in hopes of anything getting better.

Great move. I just flipped them the bird & walked out the door a few weeks ago. Some financial stress from the free fall of course but nowhere near the stresses of “normal life” of raising a family and launching them through college debt free.
I may work again I may not. I’ll decide what to do after the WFG nightmares end.
Tech of course, and highly skilled cutting edge tech for 4 decades. Few of you could survive the nightmares let alone the realities which drove them. Never once a failed deliverable… I walk out proud.
Yeah…quit right before your 401k match and possibly bonus. And give up unemployment. Super smart.
Calm down OP! You are in much better compared to other folks in other industry. What sets you apart from them is knowledge and experience you have gained over the years. Why don’t you smartly use that to find an opportunity which will make you happy and enjoy life.
Don’t stress out buddy, we are all in together!
Get out if you can. It is so much less toxic outside at other places and less stressful. Plus you will make more money than staying on this sinking ship of a company
Relax OP. If you have your health, gainful employment, and people that love you, you don't have any big problems, only small easily managed ones.

They're gonna lose some talented folks in droves -- and pretty much all at once -- due to a short-sighted decision to pay out 401k matching and bonuses about 6 weeks apart. In the old days, one might be tempted to stay for quarterly 401k matching, but now it's such at at the middle of February, with layoffs always looming, folks may suspect they're likely on the chopping block anyways and might as well jump since those annual payouts won't happen again for a year.
WF upper management could not be more pleased with your response as it shows their plans are working.
Wait for the 401k match. Then resign, hopefully after you have started some important project, which will cause some delay or something similar. Don’t warn them, just abruptly resign.
Perfect this is exactly they wanted. To make people quit and reduce headcount.
