This is not intended to be a provocative question, but I am really interested in why people whom I know have enough skills, talent and knowledge continue to suffer here?
I had four interviews in just one month. There are many opportunities out there and I don’t know why anyone would stay here despite everything they don’t like.

I stayed long enough to retire at the end of the year. They gave me a bonus to retire, so ok by me.
Easier to sell a soul than to redeem it.
Lot of us are stuck because of the years of service/age minimums 23 years and age 48 here, if I didn't have to wait for 25 years and over age 50 I would have been gone around the time the contract was extended. We don't get paid market value in my region but with the retirement benefits it makes it close to market value so too much invested to leave without them.
100k a year, Up to 10 percent bonus, 6 percent 401k match, 4 weeks of vac, work from home......most employees that actually thought about moving out found the reality of
benefits working for a solid big service provider is very hard to match.....move on stop whining and let others live.
During Covid and Work From Home, I worked an average of 2 hours per day. The rest of the day I watched TV. This is the perfect do nothing for high pay job. Im not leaving.
This job helped me buy my Corvette ZR1 for cash. Now Im saving fir my new 2022 Corvette Z06. Im definitely not leaving.
High pay. Great benefits. Matching 401k contributions. That’s why I’m staying, even thou I hate it here.
