Bad insurance

Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy I have insurance, I just wish we could have a better policy. My doctor is constantly fighting with our insurance just so I can have tests done, especially now that I have met my deductible . Earlier this year I had my knee replaced, so I met my deductible and then some . Now, I need scans for my other knee and they want me to wait until January … I know it is because they don’t want to pay . Why do we work for one of the biggest companies and have such bad insurance . The insurance we had before was so much better , granted we had to pay more per paycheck, but I would rather do that. They didn’t give us many options to choose from, and my husband needs surgery too and he is getting the same treatment about tests needed

Generally, if you are dying, it's a life saver, if you are not, it's like having no insurance at all. I've had this experience twice.

Make sure your doctors are within the network. I’ve had no issues with anything as long as my providers are within network.

Sounds like you have an HMO. Typical.

I agree. Walmart insurance is so bad. It's not about your health. It's about their dollar.
