Considering that, at this point, we can say that the overwhelming majority of BofA employees are not happy with their jobs, I guess we'll find out soon enough if having an unhappy workforce really does affect the company's bottom line. If it doesn't, don't expect anything to change. If it does, then maybe we might have some leverage. Maybe.

@1uzx+1efDJWc5 It's not mutually exclusive, employees can enjoy what they do for a living but still be disappointed and dissatisfied with corporate policies. This notion that a majority of employees are happy with RTO doesn't translate into reality when we are still seeing nearly empty offices after 3 months of voluntary RTO. Now, BofA has to mandate RTO because the overwhelming majority of employees disagree with their policies. So, in essence, the Bank is forcing RTO because they feel that it will lead many to resign therefore increasing attrition as part of an intentional cost cutting move.

I don’t believe the majority hate their jobs. Most who are happy don’t post here. This is a place for those who are unhappy to vent. I say go find a new job if you hate it at the bank. I actually love my job at BofA.
The problem with this premise is that workers are happy WFH, and good results will post because of it. BM will then point to those same results and twist it to say it is a result of RTO. This will not end well.

I think you’re missing the point. Humanity is under siege. A job will be the least of your worries, let alone the bottom line at the company your work for. Are you not paying attention?
