Could never figure out why the bank doesn’t give out gift cards or gift certificates to their employees during the holidays when it’s a tax write off . Yet they’re so worried about getting recognized for community assistance and buying the whole thanksgiving dinner for other community families while their own employees struggle during this time as well . And no bonuses ever yet tons of other companies give them out and not just in retail

My group has received more work as reward for hard work last year. I am feeling blessed.
They gave all their extra money to the southern poverty law center and underserved schools.

Not to mention they always say something "isn't in the budget " but during the Q3 announcement they said they did 2 billion in stock buy backs.....that is all that needs to be read to see where priorities are since the real beneficiaries are only the EC with their options they are given.
Even the wow points need to be approved by higher ups. I have been told a bunch of times "the budget is depleted" and they deny my nominations. And by higher ups I mean above the group manager level. So its def above the L grade level that makes the final decision on those

My group received Friday December 25th off last year and it was greatly appreciated by all.
My group has received Amazon gift cards in past years.
because BNY is cheap. they say they care about you but really they dont. there are only holiday parties at a micro level with your team if your managers choose to do it and get approval. it's also up to managers to give WoW points to you so you can get giftcards or whatever that way. so yeah

They are just giving away trophies for being You and a holiday and think it's enough.
