Does anyone know if we will be permitted to telecommute for inclement weather? I’m pretty sure I already know the answer to this but I am planning out my PTO for next year. I’m assuming I need to save 3-4 days to use for “snow days” when I’m unable to drive in.

The ability of employees to use judgement and discretion in these kinds of situations is now entirely gone. It does not bode well for the work that is done in this company if we have a bunch of people who can’t even make a decision on whether or not they have to drive in to work in unsafe conditions just to meet the 3 day a week requirement. This is what Chuckie has built and done to this company. Pathetic.
FYI inclement just means “unpleasant” so my guess is your boss may not be OK if you work from home, if he/she is a RTO stickler. If commuting is dangerous, not just inconvenient, they’ll probably encourage all who can to WFH… just as they always have. Way to overthink, OP.

and it's not necessarily handholding..... with management changing their minds everyday, its hard to tell what's allowed and what's not. Gotta be sure of 'the rules' when they are thinking of new ways to get rid of you..
