I’ve seen a lot of people mention that CS ended remote work for BNY Melon.
In reality, he tried to, but failed because of strong employee opposition. Now their new leadership is actually encouraging remote work post-Covid as a cost reduction measure. Yet here he goes charging forward trying to make the same mistake yet again at WF…

Go to the BNY Melon layoff board.

Same complaints over there. Scharf changed the culture and that culture remains.

Lesson learned, get rid of chuckie and good things happen. The Board knows what needs to be done. Time to start working on the exit strategy.

Chuck is a backward fool who has a point to prove and an axe to grind. He failed at his other companies, but he thinks he’ll give it another go here and succeed. He’s wrong.

I think more companies are offering remote work. Even my old company has several remote positions which is surprising since the bulk of the employees are located in one city unlike Wells Fargo.
