Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Bank of America wants you to either resign or die from this RTO agenda they have implemented.

This company really doesn't care about us in this RTO stunt. I think they want a lot employees to quit/resign or die from this variant. This company is run by ruthless cowards that are spineless. I will not return to this shlithole bank. The fcuking CEO and his cronies are all WFH while we risk our lives . I hope these mutherfockers get covid and die. I firmly believe when you do bad shlit to others, it will come back and bite you in tha azz.

I’m back at the office. Not that big of a deal. Not sure what everyone is complaining about.

Until you can officially prove that you once held a job in which you really did "risk your life" every shift, you can stop saying that RTO equals "risking your life".

Per the CDC and WHO statistically in 2020, top 3 causes of US deaths are:

  • Heart Attacks @ 690k people
  • Cancer @ 598k people
  • Covid-19 @ 345k people.

3,358,814 deaths in 2020. Covid-19 alone accounted for 345k people for which the PRIMARY cause of death was determined by an ME. Typically it's not Covid-19 that ki--s you, it's a preexisting medical condition that really ki--s you, Covid-19 is an "assistant".

Technically, 100% of all deaths are caused by heart failure.

I resigned a few months ago was wfh and had minimal training for a new skill and expected to perform immediately. Caused great deal of stress and anxiety including expectation to rto since I reported my vax status. I have decided to file for unemployment claiming constructive discharge for feeling of necessity to resign wondering if anyone has had success with collecting after resigning. I'm hoping I can collect was with ml over 10 years.

So leave. You aren’t being laid off. There’s no severance coming. Why punish yourself if you feel this way? You can’t change a giant company by posting on a website.

I've seen most people leave for more money, but have also now started seeing people move for culture reasons. The bank just wants to replace with cheap labor.

Considering at least one employee that I know of in NC has passed from COVID after RTO, & listening to LF tell us today that they are monitoring attrition closely… I would 100% agree.

I am a historical top performer (exceeds/exceeds). I’m done. I’m actively looking and will even take a pay cut to go elsewhere at the next opportunity. This is bigger than going back to the office. It’s the attitude and treatment of employees. It’s wrong. Negligent. Every single coworker I know is feeling similar. People aren’t doing extra anymore. There is no motivation to work hard when you get sh-t on every single day.
