Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

LMAO at Powell's thank you message

More RTO salesmanship that's completely tone deaf.

Where's CS?

He's always there, in the corner (Charlie's corner).

Why waist the energy looking at a form note that is disingenuous and likely written by a communications team with a stamped signature. Our leadership team could give to gigashits towards our wellbeing or moral. They were hired to change WFB into another bank.

$18B profit during a 2 yr pandemic and not even a $100 Christmas bonus or gift card for us. What a bunch of cheap Scrooges. Actions speak loader than video tapped words

I don't know what yall are fussing about. My mortgage company just started taking "heartfelt thanks" as payment. I'm friggin ecstatic!

I think WF has employed previous WH officials (Ivanka/Jared) or the current administration to manage this RTO process! :)

It's almost like they want someone to leak how poorly they execute business initiatives. Burning so many employees is going to feed a whistleblower event. Hostility is strong.

Powell is worst than Shart, IMO. He seems to take a perverse pleasure in twisting the kn--e and shows zero remorse for any of his actions.

I believe I set a record today for my quickest deletion of an unread email when I saw who sent it and for what reason.

We’re going to get a lot more emails just like it from the rest of leadership. However, I’m sure if we didn’t get them people would also complain.

His email pi---d me off so badly. I know front end employees have been in person since the beginning of the pandemic, but you basically said F you to all the WFH employees that have worked extra hours throughout this pandemic and haven’t gotten one extra dollar to do so. I’ve worked to 10-11pm back up again at 7 am. Given up lunch breaks on more than one occasion. To brush off our efforts was a totally bad move and honestly I have no interest working at this company after reading it.

You mean the same jacka$s who makes $9m a year and keeps deferring RTO every few weeks thereby increasing attrition - doesn’t realize everyone’s been telling him we have an attrition problem due to your stance on WFH and pay and many things - that jacka$s. Who wants your ridiculous holiday message. You’re a loser.

I couldn’t hit delete fast enough when he ended it with, “…remember to take care of yourselves.” The same guy that’s forcing us into a petri dish. So co--y and his smug picture.

Another stupid message from Powell and the Leadership Team. Of course, thanks go to the employees that were never able to work from home and I thank them. But for most of the rest of us, our offices closed and we were told not to return until told to do so. But what I find most frustrating, is that most of us that worked from home worked 10+ hours and some weekends and holidays because of the chaos our leaders created with the regulators. I'd like a sincere thank you from our HR Leadership team which I am part of, but honestly, their thanks so far have been as insincere as Scott and his buds. The new HR Leader is looking forward to the interactions with others in the office. I'm not at the level that she would even talk to me, so I don't share that excitement.

I've had emails this week's from all forms of sr. management but nothing from CS. Haven't heard from him in a while. Where's CS?

Didn’t read/watch. The only thank-yous that register with me have dollar signs or otherwise tangible value. This is why I agreed with the recent, refreshingly honest change from “associates” to “employees”.

P@well is a jrk. At C-suite level, passive-agressiveness toward employees in the middle of a pandemic is Grade A shtty. I hope karma is strong.
