Why companies shouldn't force workers to return to offices before April: Dr. Vin Gupta

https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2021/12/13/dont-make-workers-come-back-before-april-dr-vin-gupta.html

“I see no reason, no scientific justification, certainly no psychological reason, to bring your workforce back before April 1, at the earliest, into a workplace setting."

"If people are looking for a clear deadline here, I would start planning Q2 return-to-office," Gupta, who is an advisor to multiple corporations on medical policy, told members of the CNBC WEC.

I work for a team that has no members co-located, and we are consistently exceeds/exceeds. Are you saying we are mentally deficient, or that you are unable to adapt? Old-school, 'because we have always done it that way' doesn't cut it anymore. The world has proven that remote works. Now the fight is only against the few stodgy holdouts who can't admit it. The bank pushes technology to customers to get them to avoid having to deal with people directly, but when it comes to employees, they insist that it must be face-to-face to work. It is like the administration doesn't even recognize that they oversee a large part of their workforce who work at different sites, and who work together daily with remote peers and succeed. Refusal to adapt never ends well for those who maintain that position.

Seriously the most ridiculous thing I ever read. You’re clearly very very old… and I get that. I’m sure you lament the end of the horse-and-buggy and whale’s blubber lanterns. Ask your partner to use their loom and knit you a new shawl.

Think about this very true statement. Not one doctor you have seen on TV has ever treated a patient with the virus not even the gremlin F.

Serious question but do you really think CNBC is a real news outlet? Its more like a front for mass manipulation. Don't think for a second there's not some sort of financial gain by the puppet masters to have people stuck at home. Big Tech loves people at home, they make billions off it.
Branch workers have been working all this time, most schools have kids in them.

lfz+1ekYsvXf, In order for organizations to grow, they must adapt. The way the organization did it in the past, will not sustain them in the future. Most financial service companies are moving to hybrid work environments. These environments will retain talent and provide flexibility the employee market will demand.

The org needs forward thinkers, those who balance data and are open to operating in multiple ways. Are the psychological studies you referenced peered reviewed research with pre and post pandemic data, or, research conducted by McKinsey Group that is often funded by Corporate Real Estate?

You may not like to work from home. That's cool, but others thrive from it. Top Talent will move on if flexibility in a hybrid environment is not offered.

He’s not a very good doctor if he thinks there’s no psychological benefit to working in person with the people you share common goals with. There’s also tons of psychological studies showing where you are changes the way you think. Being in libraries tend to make us want to read, the gym makes us want to work out, being around working people makes us want to work harder, and being at home makes us want to rest, relax, and enjoy recreation. Working at home throws off both of those last two, we aren’t at all as productive with our employees at home, between pets, kids, relationships. They’re all there distracting you and you love it, but the bank wants you focused, not distracted, and they want people that want to work in office with their co-workers, which you don’t. The bank never changed, you did, and you don’t belong anymore if you believe wfh is better for you, so please leave.

I hope our fcuking coward azz leadership listened to Dr. Gupta about the April 1st RTO date. This early RTO in January is going to cause many of us to be exposed to the variants. This leadership is very evil and they don't care about your health or your families. I also heard from a reliable source that there have been several employee deaths already from the RTO agenda already. This is information that will not be reported because this will cause more employees to delay their return.
