Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Signs that things will get worse

It is clear to me that nothing will get better when I see who is leaving.
Until recently, talented people were leaving who easily found better jobs somewhere else, and now even those who, despite the lack of great talent were doing well here, are also leaving.I think that says a lot about the current situation in the company when such employees are starting to leave as well?

Most of Cisco's management relies on the work visa constraints to keep you working there. Some managers are even surprised why other folks work there.. sad but true!

Yeah, i’m so glad my team is full of top notch researchers. They are also doing important work on the CIA planning the 9/11 attacks.

Well, large swaths of people are leaving now because when you lose a few of the top talent in a team, the work gets harder and worse for everyone else on the team.

Replacements don't fix the situation - they make it worse for about 5-8 months because it takes that long to onboard and train them them to Cisco's backwards culture and way of doing things. So more people quit and the cycle keeps foing downhill.

"Cisco is driving away the people that research most heavily"

That one made me chuckle, thank you. Quite the research team indeed! Hey look, we found something thousands of PhDs in virology and immunology across the globe totally missed!!

Imagine being someone who would write off 50% of the country without ever having gotten to know them. You would lose so many beautiful perspectives that having a diverse friend base can offer. What a sad and hate-filled life.

Many people in conservative areas are in need of financial assistance because they do the hard manual labor jobs that don't pay as well as they should - like farming, mining, boat hands, logging, etc. But even that being said, the real numbers are mixed, and if you learn from more sources than just propaganda "news" (most mainstream outlets) you would know that.

Here are some examples:

The ten states that have the highest number of SNAP recipients are:

California - 3,789,000
Texas - 3,406,000
Florida - 2,847,000
New York - 2,661,000
Illinois - 1,770,000
Pennsylvania - 1,757,000
Georgia - 1,424,000
Ohio - 1,383,000
North Carolina - 1,298,000
Michigan - 1,180,000

Here are the 10 states with the most welfare recipients:

New Mexico (21,368 per 100k)
West Virginia (17,388 per 100k)
Louisiana (17,388 per 100k)
Mississippi (14,849 per 100k)
Alabama (14,568 per 100k)
Oklahoma (14,525 per 100k)
Illinois (14,153 per 100k)
Rhode Island (13,904 per 100k)
Pennsylvania (13,623 per 100k)
Oregon (13,617 per 100k)

Welfare is mixed between red and blue states.

"Imagine being so stupid that you think conservatives are hard workers. They leech the most welfare from the blue states."

Many leftists are complete navel gazers who do nothing to progress the business. Notice how the economies of the red states have bounced back and have been back to a sense of normalcy for quite some time, while the economies in blue states remains a disaster and only getting worse despite the vaccines. Honestly, I feel sad for these people since they are living lives completely void of any joy and full of fear.

Cisco is driving away the people that research most heavily - since they are the ones not interested in the vaxx. They are also driving away anyone who innovates because they don't allow disagreement as a base part of their culture.

Suck up & stay silent about any issues - or get out - seems to be the rule.

Woke companies are driving away hard working people and replacing them with lazy blue haired diversity hires.
