It was Rich Edwards in tech last month and now Pat Hellman in operations. Almost 60 years service between the two, Lots of people let go or 'deciding to retire'.

PH quadrupled the amount of time our group in operations has to spend in standing meetings to “increase productivity”

what PH did to the origination teams in processing & underwriting has been nothing short of an apocalypse. The whole re-org was an incredibly failed idea to align to a "national model". Never seen morale worse on my team. And of course our bonus depends on those customer surveys they mail out after a loan closes.. and if the customer is upset we get screwed even if something we have 0 control over. Of course this didn't stop PH from tooting his ho-n on his way out the door on his townhall today.
They were forced out. Just corporate speak for that. My guess is they called it as it was instead of the company line, that usually does it. These new execs don’t like strong leaders.
About time PH was let go...two weeks was all he was given to clear out... I've been sitting twiddling my thumbs looking for files for months. Listened to his farewell address today, the guy has no clue what's going on in the mortgage dept.
I worked in mortgage for over a decade, left for another LOB in 2013. I've never heard of the guy either.
My mistake. Never worked in Mortgage, nor had a reason to look at any org charts over there. Outside the head of Mortgage, would not know a single name from there.

The sad part of this is. When someone leaves there is no replacment for them.
Hate to say it, but I wouldn’t mind seeing the whole place go down on Charlie’s watch. (On the other hand, I wouldn’t want to see employees pay the price which is exactly what would happen.)
