@5wng Polio mainly targeted kids ages 5 and under with no comorbidities. Covid threatens mainly those over 55 with comorbidities, which includes being overweight. Maybe the US should have addressed obesity as a Public Health issue decades ago. My Body My Choice us a valid argument for those who are healthy with no comorbidities. I have yet to see an average weight person knock food out of an obese person's hand because eating is a threat to the fat person. But, it has become ok for the non-healthy to impose vaccination on the healthy. Maybe take care of the body you were originally given and stop relying on the medical field to reverse the damage you've done by overeating, smoking, drinking or dr-gs. Oh, that's right...My Body My Choice.
Why does a poster think fighting the vaccine mandates is prolonging the pandemic? Haven't you noticed that masks are still recommended even if you have been vaccinated? Why - because vaccinated can still catch and spread the virus. This isn't a polio vaccine - don't make such a comparison. The pandemic will end the way Omnicron was handled in South Africa. People's immune system fighting off a weakened virus.
The comparison of getting the vaccine to "my body my choice" is comparing apples to watermellons. No one is fighting about ab-----n. This is a public health issue and no one fought about getting the polio vaccine. That's why it's basically gone. But you just keep fighting and prolonging this pandemic. Good job.

I cannot talk about the impact of Delta on vaxxed vs unvaxxed because the CDC does NOT provide the numbers.

No. The new variants are not harming the vaxed more than the unvaxed. Hospitals are saying the overwhelming majority of their covid patients are unvaccinated. Get your head out of your a-s and face facts.

Seems like these new "variants" are impacting the vaccinated more so than the unvaccinated. Experimentation of vaccine is still ongoing and destroying otherwise healthy immune systems. Will see who will still be around (alive at best) in a few years.
