Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

What percentage when moving up bands?

Is it capped around 10%? Can anyone go from a 7T to 6V and does that increase the percentage or would you get the same as if you moved to 7v?

Salary range for band changes can range from 5-10% (in my experience) but the Short Term Incentive seems to be the same across the board: 10% Band 8, 12% Band 7V (salaried, I think hourly might stay 10%), 20% Band 6

You can get a larger bump if salary falls below the base pay of the 6v title. Potentially you can go up higher than the 10%. It is base on base pay

I think band 6 has a higher STIP payout than band 7, 20% vs. 10%.

You might get slightly higher increase but nothing dramatically big. If normally you get 2-3% base salary increase you might get the whole 5% this time.
Also they like to do this during yearly salary increase time (in April?) so you get that bump on your original salary and not the one after the yearly increase.
