Worse than micromanagement

Some may not be affected much by this,,, but I am much less productive when I have to work under tremendous control and supervision. I’m not new to this company so that micromanagement might make sense, nor am I a slacker who doesn’t do his job. I could somehow put up with micromanagement, but how can I tolerate being micromanaged by a person who doesn't know anything about my job at all?

This company is a joke. I watched two employees beat the cra#%p out of each other, two months later they got their job back and the one employee is back to bullying everyone else again. Complete joke just collecting a paycheck at this time …

Do what most do here. Fake it to make it. Yes sir. No sir. And if worst comes to worst. Call the HR hotline and complain of a hostile work environment. Because some boss hovering over you busting your boss is hostile.

Have an open discussion with the individual. If they are not receptive and not willing to back off, then find another role. Some people are just very an-l when it comes to managing their team. The idea is to allow people to complete tasks and allow for mistakes so that we learn from them and improve processes. If your leadership doesn't understand this, then it is time to move on.
