Holiday Bonus ‘Replaced’ by Variable Dividend

Are we really expected to be happy about the holiday bonus being replaced by the variable dividend?

Especially folks with a much lower stock award amount than other salary grades? Especially when those shares are automatically settled in cash, while higher salary grades can elect to hold their shares?

So a $12k stock award nets roughly $800 bucks? (Assuming $3 var div, 4 times a year, $180 share price)

This feels like company scrip, doled out unfairly. “Just earn more company stock, then you’ll get the value”

There was never a holiday bonus at Pioneer. The March bonus is also not a bonus but a good chunk of your salary (deferred compensation) that’s paid out once a year for retention.

Welcome to the "new pioneer", where executives and heavy investors are the only winners and employees get the scraps! Just think what will happen in 2022, the more employees loose, the more the rest gain...it's all coming clear now!

I can tell you nobody is happy and we know what kind of games they are planning.
