If you've worked here for more than a couple of yours you've acquired a set of skills and talents that are currently highly sought after. If you're really fed up with T and its cr-p, you have options. Don't listen to your manager who keeps telling you that you should consider yourself lucky to have a job. They know that if you leave, they're going to be screwed since there are not enough people with those same skills and talents to hire. Leave. If there ever was a time to do that, it's now.

Maybe your co-workers don't have to work as hard because they are better than you.
I deskilled at t. My job there was a joke. I relied on employment previous to t and other education to get my next job. T is a big company though. It's possible there are places here where people gain valuable experience.

What ‘skills’ are you referencing? You’re a company trained ‘I/R tech! You are not a physician, nurse, software engineer, data scientist, brain surgeon or chef! Don’t get it twisted, your ‘talents’ can and are readily transferable to any high schooler. So quit with the false sense of platitudes. Try offering those ‘talents’ to Google or Apple……LOL
Stinky sees his workforce as a liability, a cost to be minimized and eliminated. Work for a company that sees its employees as its greatest asset. Word has gotten out - AT&T can't find anyone to take their technician jobs as it is. It's going to be a grim future when AT&T's experienced 'liabilities' say "to h#ll with this place" and all move on.
