Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Bad Fiserv policy

  • Employees are expected to work more than 40 hours per week to complete their jobs and then are told "it's the nature of the industry."
  • Tight-knit teams are being violently blown apart because of Frank's whimsical urges. Today it's NJ; what'll it be tomorrow, Frank?
  • Constant punishment via process. Agile baloney, check-ins, one-on-ones, goal setting, yearly reviews, time tracking, Sapience, admin restrictions, badge deactivation, forced homepages/browsers/wallpapers, etc...
  • Outdated and insecure tooling. Concrete example: the vast majority of Fortify findings are blatantly invalid or irrelevant. Working around these silly findings actually causes more security holes and bugs than it fixes. But thanks to Guy's iron-fisted "do it or else" mentality, quality continues to decline.
  • Employees are looked down upon for raising valid concerns about bad process. Managers are given scripts to read to their employees and have fearful expressions on their faces while reading them. The sign of a poor and abusive regime.

I sent a simple question to HR in October that my manager did not know the answer and it took until the end of December to get an answer. I had to send four emails asking for response
Ridiculous!

The vaccination layoffs likely weren't enough to meet attrition goals. Frank and Guy are cooking up some new juicy new policies as we speak. What'll be next - removal/reduction of R&R?

Fiserv is sinking. Down with Jason, Frank, Guy, Hartley and Bill. All in it to line their pockets.

I see you resolve Fortify findings the same way I do.

HR has no idea that communication isn't making its way to the employees. Really shows how well they check their work.

Making anonymous posts on a message board will do nothing to improve your situation. Every leader at Fiserv is expected to have an open door policy and I encourage you to express your frustrations to your leaders. If you feel like your not being heard or getting a canned response, check in with HR. Remember, Together Everyone Achieves More and your direct feedback is always welcome.
