Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Get out of the clown show that is Honeywell

The job sucks and there are so many better options. If you stay, Honeywell will strip you of your health, not just physically but also mentally. I'm talking from personal experience. I was on several medications while I worked there. I left a year ago and I'm now happy and only taking one more pill which I hope to be rid of in a few months. Get out. The chances you'll regret it are minuscule.

17 years of my life I gave to this company. Getting laid off was the best thing that ever happend to me. I'll say it again as I have in other posts, YOU ARE ALL BETTER THAN THAT PLACE! If you want a better life and better work enviorment just leave. Don't make excuses like I did the last 5 years of my employment. Unless youre really good at kissing tail your never gonna get that big promotion you've sacrificed your family for. God bless all of you that are still being manipulated by that place. I hope you find the courage to walk away. There is a better life on the other side of it. I can promise you that .

Yep, left at the end of 2019, just before Covid. Best decision I ever made.

I agree 100%. Leaving was absolutely necessary to recover my health and my sanity. Any logically thinking individual would realize that the path forward is through the exit door... but they overload you to the point that you don't even have the time and/or the strength to consider your options, find your opportunity, and ultimately get out.

I left Honeywell almost 4 years ago. I see that things at Honeywell hasent changed since i left. I spent 15 years at Honeywell getting trashed on my reviews yet my managers kept adding more respinabilities on me. Thats ok beciase they did it for me. Now i am in a job that appreciates me and pays me way more then i would have made if i stayed working at Honeywell till i retired.

You need padded gloves when working with you? You want spoon feeding? Don't blame others for your misery. Should have left as soon as you were "made" to go on meds.

I also left a year ago. Could no longer stand the constant demand for revenue and making the numbers. It would be one thing if they provide the support and make requests but with no staff it’s hard to make gold out of garbage.

Some are lucky enough to survive and others are forever damaged by the evil empire.
