Who are the favorite ones?

I have a colleague who, as soon as I came here, drew my attention to the fact that favoritism is in full swing here. I also see on this forum that favoritism is mentioned a lot and that it is difficult to achieve much for those who are not among the favorites. However, no one says who are your favorites? If it was enough to just compliment your superiors, then most of the employees here would be among the favorites...

If you ever want a laugh go look at the comments on flagscape with any article mentioning BM. These colossal suck ups think praising the CEO is some kind of fast track to promotion. In the end I think one becomes a favorite by being good at their job. The less a manager has to explain you to their boss the higher you climb.

Don't know who the favorites are (well maybe) but I know I'm not one. I'm on so many schitt lists at work it will never happen.

i've always worked so that my boss looks good. that's how you stay a "favorite". and thankfully my boss acknowledges everyone's contributions and doesn't take credit on their own.
