I spent a lot of time at T trying to rationalize staying and stagnating. I realize now that I probably should have left much earlier, but better late than never, I guess. I'm not going to lie, I had some good years at T, but by the end of it, I couldn't wait to get out. It wasn't hard to find a new job and I managed to move on in October. My only regret is that I hadn't done it sooner.

Bye Felicia.....
If you are in a better place as you say. Why are you back on a T post?is it because you miss T and wish you were back? Being rhetorical
Best of luck. I’ll be leaving in Jan after 10 years. It was good the first 3-4 years, then it just got worse year after year. All the people and reasons for me to stay left a long time ago. No reasons to stay any longer. I hear ya, I should have left a while back.
In AT&T's case, the grass really is greener on the other side. My only regret is waiting as long as I did to move beyond this organization.
I pity the fools that are trying to join the executive club. These folks will eventually join the camel entering the eye of a needle. At least trying to.
congrats - you won't regret it and won't look back and you will have your normal life back.
Congrats you will be so happy and you won't look back.
India and Columbia is where the jobs are going. American Telephone and Telegraph is a misnomer. Not an American company. Just a floundering debt ridden failure of company led by clowns. Yea
I appreciate the honesty in your post.
I will be leaving in 2023 and have the same mindset right now. The company has changed and not for the better.
I remember Randall staying in a townhall once that if we didn’t make the significant investment in video we would be managing decline. I really see that as where we are.
That makes perfect sense and I’m in the same place as you! I’m winding down my time with T and the longer I’m here, the more I can’t wait to leave. My target is 2022 for bringing my job with T to a close after several decades! The company had changed as well as the job and that’s not for the better which is why it’s time to move on!
