Thread regarding Ford layoffs

New year, same cr-p!

"It all comes down to the execution" (Bill Ford and Jim Farley in the first Global Town Hall meeting of this year)

Yes, that's my concern precisely. When we go from Fairy Woke Land to the real world, Ford sucks. A good example of Ford's incompetence was shown in the same Town Hall meeting, when we found we can save thousands of dollars per MachE, after we launched it and sold 27 thousands units. Yeap! That's the Ford way! Better to do it twice, than to do it right.

BTW, we don't need Darren Palmer and the MachE task force to know what's wrong with this vehicle and how to improve it. Just listen to what Sandy Munro said about it.

Jim Farley is an id--t. People in his inner circle have nothing good to say about him. He doesn’t listen to anyone and thinks he knows everything.

I have lost total faith in the company. Competent CEOs are a thing off the past

Elon summed up the meeting at the WH quite nicely ….

Icing on the cake is a Biden tweet mentioning GM first with a video clip of he and Mary where she mentions a 6 billion investment in Michigan

Did Ford break company rules by letting Biden drive a preprod Lightning last year? Only Ford employees are supposed to be able to drive preprod vehicles.

Now Farley comes out and makes a bold promise, 600k EVs in the next 22 months.

IN THE MIDDLE OF A CHIP SHORTAGE.

To quote Lucky Ned Pepper: "That's bold talk, from a one-eyed fat man!" (Yes I know Farley has two eyes.)

Farley definitely had his mask on too tight. There should not be rolls of fat under the loops.

That climate change ceo guy made himself to be one of the biggest succkk up foools I've seen in the industry.

At least in the clips I seen thus far, Jim F kept his mouth shuut.

And oh yeah, our president looked very competent.

As others have said, working at Ford is a job, not a career.

I wonder what Farley got for Bill from Biden at the WH meeting today. Did anyone see the video of him sitting at the table when Biden got lost and the CEO of Cummins called climate change an existential crisis ?
